1. Service Description
GemSight ("we," "us," "our") operates a subscription-based web application at gemsight.ai that provides AI-powered identification of rocks, crystals, and minerals. Members upload photographs of specimens and receive automated analysis reports generated by artificial intelligence.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or purchasing a membership, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use GemSight.
3. Subscription and Billing
GemSight offers the following membership plans:
- Monthly: $35.00 per month, billed on the same date each month
- Annual: Billed once per year at the annual rate
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file at each renewal. All prices are in USD.
4. Refund Policy
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for new members. If you are unsatisfied within the first 7 days of your initial subscription, contact us at gemsightai@gmail.com for a full refund.
After the 7-day window, subscription fees are non-refundable. If you cancel mid-period, you retain access through the end of your paid period and will not be charged again.
To cancel your subscription, visit your account settings at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
5. Disclaimer of AI Accuracy
GemSight's identification reports are generated by artificial intelligence and are provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute professional gemological appraisal, scientific analysis, or commercial valuation.
- AI results may be inaccurate, incomplete, or uncertain
- Do not rely on GemSight reports for purchasing, selling, or insuring gemstones
- Consult a certified gemologist (GIA, AGS) for professional appraisal
- Estimated price ranges are approximations only
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload images that are not of rocks, minerals, or gemstones
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse our API
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
7. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of photos you upload. By uploading, you grant GemSight a limited license to process your images solely to provide the identification service. We do not sell or share your images with third parties.
GemSight's interface, branding, and AI reports are our intellectual property and may not be reproduced without written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GemSight shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or reliance on AI-generated reports. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 30 days preceding any claim.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may cancel at any time through your account settings.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of GemSight after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify active members of material changes by email.
